how to connect to incorrigo syx
our platform can be accessed by a variety of different applications. depending on how advanced you are a user, you may prefer to use your own chat client [IRC client / the name of one of these applications], however - if you are just getting started we have one that works in your web browser / on any size of device, requires only a browser with javascript

if this is particularly new to you, the web browser client is recommended

nickname "being held"

there are a number of ways that you can bump into this problem ...

Image of Nickname Error on Kiwi welcome screen Image of Nickname Error after logged on as someone else
what this error means is that a registered nickname has been used and the time limit to identify has run out
when that happens, the nickname is placed on a services hold to literally stop unauthorised people from using it

if the person who caused the hold was you and it's not your nickname, you must choose another one. this is a basic security measure that is put there in order to protect a registered nickname from being hogged or otherwise brought into disrepute / used in any way / marred by the actions of someone else. if you registered your nickname, the same protections of your identity / access to services would be afforded to you in the same way - and [later on in the game maybe] once you have registered a nickname of your own you would appreciate the protection just the same

if the nickname's yours

of course, if the nickname in question belongs to you then that's totally different

Screenshot of using the /nickserv recover command to regain control of your nick
now you're going to have to log on as something else at first. if you run the /nickserv recover your_actual_nickname yourpassword then you will get your nickname back - how it happens all depends ... but you will get your nickname back

Response to RECOVER command
Screenshot you need to identify still after release
if you recover your nickname, you still have to log in with /ID yourpassword, don't worry if you're new to all this. it becomes second nature

few moments in life are filled with such beauty :)
